- The industry's most versatile, reliable, and effective mobile system on the market.
- Two Technologies: Z Backscatter™ technology highlights organic threats plus high-energy transmission for the inspection of dense cargo.
- Flexible Scan Modes: Normal operations with boom deployed, or additional option for high-speed scanning of passenger vehicles or oversized or odd-shaped cargo with boom stowed.
The MobileSearch™ HE (High Energy) inspection system is designed for the detailed inspection of cargo and vehicles in a highly mobile configuration. The system combines both high-energy transmission with optional Z Backscatter imaging for the most reliable means of detecting threatening materials on a mobile platform. The system detects weapons, explosives, illegal drugs, agricultural products, currency, and other contraband. MobileSearch HE is ideal for homeland security and drug interception missions at seaports, border crossings, and other high threat checkpoints.
Flexibile Scan Modes
MobileSearch HE offers multiple scan modes for added flexibility. During normal operations, MobileSearch HE scans over stationary vehicles and cargo with both transmission and optional Z Backscatter imaging with the boom deployed. Additionally, when equipped with the optional Z Backscatter imaging MobileSearch HE can operate in Z Backscatter-only mode, with the boom stowed, for high speed scanning of passenger vehicles or oversized or odd-shaped cargo. The system can travel on the road and at highway speeds.
Superior Detection with Z Backscatter Plus High-Energy Transmission
MobileSearch HE offers two complementary technologies. Its transmission X-ray images offer high penetration and high resolution images for the inspection of densely loaded cargo. The system also features optional Z Backscatter X-ray imaging to assist in the identification of organics for improved detection of threats and contraband. Z Backscatter offers the additional benefits of photo-like images, improved image analysis time, and a wide field of view with no tire cutoff unlike transmission X-rays. In Z Backscatter-only mode, the system is safe to scan drivers and passengers while they remain in their vehicles.
